The lost foam casting technology is to make same structure and size models with castings by foam plastic(EPS, STMMA or EPMMA). By dipping refractory adhesive coating（strengthening and bright & clean role）, they are buried in the special sandbox for dry sand modeling after drying. By the negative pressure compaction of three-dimension or two-dimension micro vibration, it pours the melting alloy liquid without loam core, loose block,or even riser. The whole process keeps certain negative pressure. It is the new disposal molding casting process in which the model vaporizes and decomposes because of heating and it is replaced by alloy liquid. The lost foam casting has many different calls. In China, it is mainly called “dry sand mold casting” or “negative pressure mold casting”(abbreviated as EPC casting). In foreign countries, the calls are mainly “lost foam process（America）”、policast  process(Italy) and so on. Compared to traditional casting technology, it has great advantages and it is praised as “21 century casting technology” and “green revolution of casting industry ” by foreign casting industry.
